joschminute: I'm now distributing the artifacts like this: https://reform.mister-muffin.de/images/2024-06-05/00:36
joschminute: these could be linked from the README.md of reform-system-image: https://source.mnt.re/reform/reform-system-image/-/merge_requests/14800:36
joschminute: I would of course welcome if MNT would host these files but I can understand that 300+ GB is too much :)00:37

Svpheyo, any updates on u-boot display on classic reform SoCs that arent i.mx8mq and rcore?13:21
minuteSvp: which one specifically?13:37
Svpminute: a311d specifically but i was also wondering in general for other modules as i havent been paying much attention lately13:38
+ paperManu (~paperManu@204.244.186.187)14:14
lidstahahaha, OpenEnroth (Might and Magic VII) does build (using mold as linker) and runs on the reform (with the gpu hacks from mnt's documentation): https://celeano.lidstah.info/-E6peV5PKgv :)15:18
lidstaherf, segfault on combat pause15:40
lidstahmmh, nope, random bug it seems15:41
minuteSvp: we applied for funding to get it done for quasar16:34
minuteif someone here is bored, i'd like to know if this builds and runs on your system(s) https://codeberg.org/minute/lost-daw16:36
lidstahminute: built and launched here https://celeano.lidstah.info/-gqLs4JqTzk - although I'm - sadly - no musician at all so, can't tell you if it works correctly16:51
lidstahI hate when something randomly segfault, and then I launch it through gdb and can't reproduce the bug (openenroth >.>, guess I'll play it through gdb xD)16:52
lidstahminute: oh, lost config is done in a dialect of Lisp?16:53

lidstahand thus a backtrace22:21
lidstahseems sound related22:21

joschminute: whoops, I just accidentally found that the qcacld2 package built by reform-debian-packages .gitlab-ci.yml is missing a d/copyright file and thus violates the licenses that the code is released under. Do you agree that we have to adjust the packaging?23:00
minutejosch: ooop! well, i think it's best to move qcacld2 into the kernel package + build it as part of the kernel (as a module), and get rid of the update mechanism hack23:19
joschminute: is somebody actually working on that? qcacld2 has 800k LOC23:20
minutelidstah: thanks for testing my build! and kinda, it uses s-expressions for the config and song/project files. now with libsexp which is coincidentally maintained by bremner (thanks!)23:21
bremnerneat, I didn't realize that other projects in Debian were using that library23:56
