lidstahHi all, my classic reform should be delivered tomorrow (if UPS doesn't encounter any problems during the delivery), so I'm rereading the documentation. I do have a doubt though: before connecting the battery cables, should I remove the battery cells (per safety chapter here: https://mntre.com/documentation/reform-handbook/safety.html), or is it safe to directly connect the battery cables (as13:27
lidstahI've seen being done in some videos about the classic reform)? I'd tend to remove the battery packs because, well, safety first and I don't want to fry anything, just want to be sure :)13:27
joschMartiniMoe: the default boot order on rk3588 is: mmc1 nvme mmc0 usb scsi pxe dhcp spi13:28
lidstahjosch: oow, pxe boot is available? might be easier for openbsd testing here…13:34
lidstahwondering if iscsi boot might be a thing, too13:35

MartiniMoejosch: thanks a lot! so I can't really make it boot from usb, because the emmc is always present, or am I misunderstanding something?13:52
joschMartiniMoe: you can boot from usb if you don't have something bootable on emmc14:08
MartiniMoejosch: I see. Not worth possibly destroying the debian install on there :D I'll just wait for the micro sd to arrive then probably14:09
joschMartiniMoe: i think any micro sd-card should work -- i got some of mine from a simple mini market around the corner14:56

MartiniMoelooks like my apt is broken. I am not sure if it is because of something I tinkered with. Just to be sure I'll post it here, maybe josch is interested? ^^18:23
MartiniMoe$ sudo apt full-upgrade 18:24
MartiniMoeHmm, seems like the AutoRemover destroyed something which really18:24
MartiniMoeshouldn't happen. Please file a bug report against apt.18:24
MartiniMoeThe following information may help to resolve the situation:18:24
MartiniMoeUnsatisfied dependencies:18:24
MartiniMoe reform-qcacld2-6.18.5-mnt-reform-arm64 : Depends: linux-image-6.18.5-mnt-reform-arm64 but it is not going to be installed18:24

joschMartiniMoe: If you like I can give you the long explanation but the short explanation is: manually remove reform-qcacld2 and with it reform-qcacld2-6.18.5-mnt-reform-arm6419:07
joschMartiniMoe: if you run "sudo reform-check" then the tool will suggest you to do the same (feel free to try it out) you can remove that package because you are not i.MX8M+19:08
