mjvminute: i suspect you already knew it would do the trick but setting pcie_aspm=off seems to have resolved my boot issue. i suspect it was indeed covered elsewhere and i missed it. again, thank you much.01:43

gordon1so for a while now i noticed my reform being a bit too quiet, today i finally opened the screen bezel and found out that one of the speakers was completely severed from its wires, quick solder job fixed it, but it was fun to try and solder a moving target :D15:01
gordon1speaker magnet kept leaping to the soldering iron15:01

jfredWell I feel a little silly. I'd been having trouble with my pocket reform keyboard disconnecting and assuming it was a firmware issue. Just thought to pull off the keyboard case panel and push at the internal USB connector... and felt it snap back into place slightly. It must have wiggled itself out somehow21:19
jfredIt was connected well enough to *usually* work but occasionally not21:20
^alexoh relatable21:24
minutejfred: that is a very interesting data point. 21:40
jfredIt's possible it unseated itself initially due to an impact while I was on a bike ride a while back. I think that's when one of my battery holders broke as well21:47
jfredthere was a bit of rough terrain on that ride21:48

jfredwait... the keyboard just reset itself again. maybe I misdiagnosed22:08
joschas far as data points go, I also had one of the cables disconnecting from the internal speaker of classic reform22:11
