joschminute: there are currently aroun 400 GiB of artifacts in the reform-system-image repo and i suspect that uploading fails because there is no more space. I've cleaned up some of my branches (so the associated artifacts should be auto-removed soon as well) and I found this branch of yours: https://source.mnt.re/reform/reform-system-image/-/commits/setup-accessibility08:03
joschminute: Maybe create a MR for it so that it doesn't get forgotten?08:03
joschAnd if you give your yay or nay for this MR that would be another 20 GiB less: https://source.mnt.re/reform/reform-system-image/-/merge_requests/14608:06
josch(essentially, just check with gsettings what color you have set on your system and whether it's really just "purple" or something else)08:09

joschOB21:37
joschoh no, now i also had an oops XD21:40
minutejosch: i think all the a11y stuff was already released iirc21:47
minutejosch: currently @ family stuff, back at work tomorrow evening21:47
minutejosch: about purple, isn't the purple color from the standard palette readable from gsettings?21:48
- pomel0 (QUIT: Remote host closed the connection) (~pomel0@user/pomel0)21:49
+ pomel0 (~pomel0@user/pomel0)21:49
joschminute: i'm currently using "purple" which is whatever actual RGB values gnome interprets it as but i don't know if you are using the same thing or some custom RGB value21:49
joschminute: hope you have a pleasent time with your family! I'm currently testing the last u-boot blobs and then you can tag away tomorrow. :)21:50
josch(and then we can have a new reform-tools release)21:50
- pomel0 (QUIT: Ping timeout: 260 seconds) (~pomel0@user/pomel0)21:56
joschoh no... i spoke too soon...22:01
joschsomething is wrong with rk3588 u-boot: https://mister-muffin.de/p/46ou.txt22:02
joschi think what's happening there is that u-boot sees a GUID partition table with the expected uuids for efi booting, tries to boot using efi and fails (because the first partition only contains classic boot.scr and extlinux.conf) and then skips the sd-card completely and loads the system from emmc instead...22:03

joschokay, then this can be merged22:25
joschhaha... funny rk3588 u-boot bug... on all platforms bootdelay is set to "1". Why cannot i not interrupt the boot process via serial then?22:28
joschbecause rk3588-dsi is the only one where it is set to "0"....22:29
joschhttps://source.mnt.re/reform/reform-rk3588-uboot/-/merge_requests/1622:29
- gustav25 (QUIT: Quit: Quit) (~gustav@c-78-82-52-152.bbcust.telenor.se)22:30
joschalso, indeed with GUID partitioning, rk3588 u-boot does not even consider booting using boot.scr or extlinux.conf: https://mister-muffin.de/p/F7oO.txt22:31
joschminute: if rk3588 is going to switch from u-boot to barebox, maybe i should not invest time into figuring this out?22:40
minutejosch: hmm it's not ready yet22:41
joschokay, i left a comment about that in the MR. It's still marked as draft so that it doesn't get merged.22:47

joschnote to self: copying a disk image using MBR onto an sd-card which used to contain a GUID partition table with bmaptool will *not* overwrite the GUID partition table because that is unmapped space in the MBR disk image...23:25
minutejosch: "org.gnome.desktop.interface accent-color 'purple'" is correct23:29
minutejust checked23:29
minutejosch: uh oh @ bmap23:30
joschlets fix this now and explicitly write zeroes where the GUID partition table would be in our MBR images23:31
joschthank you, i set the pipeline to auto-merge for accent-color23:33
minutejosch: thanks, and for fixing the guid issue23:42
