casparvitchjosch: I tried the debian system image & that worked fine, so I think the sd card formatting had an issue. the net installer *seems* to work fine now with a fresh format. Don't have time to complete the install, but think it'll be fine. The screen is sideways but I think that's expected :)) thanks for your help!!09:13

bremnerfolding?18:50
joschNeonkAaa: I've converted a normal MNT Reform keyboard to a bluetooth keyboard using this: http://handheldsci.com/kb/18:50
joschno, please fewer points of mechanical failure and more sturdiness instead18:51
bremnermaybe josch should get in less fights with other mechanical keyboard wielders ;)18:51
joschhahaha :D18:52

chhttps://chaos.social/deck/@ktemkin@provably.online/11495580760747194319:41
chnot sure why wifi is still such a problem, but maybe i should also try the intel card19:41
ch(bit of a shame if intel goes away at some point)19:42
minutejosch: NeonkAaa: yes, we have plans for pocket standalone keyboard+trackball with (optional) bt19:47
joschwoot! \o/19:47
joschi guess market analysis showed that there is still no sensible wireless keyboard for the couch/mediacenter in 2025? :D19:48
chi have a very old microsoft foldable bluetooth keyboard for this19:49

jfredImagining a bluetooth version of the full size reform keyboard with the trackball module on the right side22:02
jfredthat'd be a great media center keyboard22:02
jfredI have a logitech keyboard with a touchpad on the side, but as with nearly every other bluetooth touchpad I've tried the touchpad is awful22:03

kfxthis is what I use http://www.riitek.com/product/256.html23:37
kfxit's not bluetooth; it's a wireless dongle23:37
kfxbut you flip to the keyboard side and type, then flip it over and it works as an accelerometer remote23:37
kfxplug and play in linux, shows up as a mouse/keyboard 23:37
kfxused this or one like it for many years23:37
kfxthe 'ok' button is a left click, the three lines button is right-click.  volume keys work as expected23:38
