svpcurrently trying to convince obs into building reform-tools, i cant help but notice the make install section calls install with 644 for the sbin executables, this seems wrong to me, am i missing something? Somewhat relatedly, the packing seems to fail after the build due to the whitespaced files in /usr/share/reform-tools/machines, unsure how to proceed about that. log: https://pastebin.com/cePy5AKw12:01

hramrachsvp: indded, there it complains. but how did you get those filenames?12:59
hramrachlike if you use find to split the package or something it does this12:59
hramrachbut if you tell it to pack the whole directory it should pack the files just fine regardledd of spaces13:00
hramrachuhh, pesign, you are building the modules13:01
hramrachthat might be broken if there are spaces, probobly nobody tested that so far13:01

hramrachI already investigated that once so I have some vague idea13:43
minutech: news from MPS. i have a more thorough analysis that i could send you via email, but the gist is that that 20V is near the 21V max of the MPS chip, and with long cables and no inrush control, there can be "ringing" that would for a moment push the voltage >21V and cause overvoltage which could lead to this failure. i think until we have an improved charger board, we could lower the default13:50
minutemax voltage for usb-c in the firmware as well13:50
hramrachsvp: likely that error comes from pesign-obs-integration but hard to tell without seeing the OBS package14:00

hramrachas in if you get the perl script spew different garbage into the spec file it builds reform-tools fine. But I dare you to put the display size in the config filenames16:34
hramrachlike Pocket Reform with 7" screen, that would surely make a lot of scripts happy16:35
