BoostisBetterjosch: thanks for all of your help, and to answer your question here, I would also agree that the setup-encrypted-nvme script would be a good canidate to clear out the emmc. 08:15
BoostisBetterminute: I just finsihed putting debian stable on the pocket. The kb was acting well throughout the entire time. I put psuspend back on and it appeared to work. However during the second much shorter psuspend session that keyboard did reset on its own, but acted normal thereafter. 08:35
BoostisBetterminute: I will let you know if I have the issue where the kb simply will not reconnect again. 08:36
minutech: layout can be improved, real kelvin connection to sense resistors, maybe improve some caps, get rid of ground split, 4 layers, ... many little ideas but nothing where i'd know, _that's_ the root cause09:46
chright. thanks!09:51

BoostisBetterminute: bummer, but the keyboard is currently unable to connect although it is staying functional in that the oled and leds are functional.'10:51
BoostisBetterminute: it seemed to be triggered when the power state on charging changed. 10:51
BoostisBetterI am typing to you from the pocket using an external keyboard10:52
BoostisBetterminute: lsusb does not show the keyboard anymore. No matter how many times I reset the hub or kb, including pushing the physical rp2040 reset button10:56
BoostisBetterI am using ch's sysctrl firmware10:57
BoostisBetterminute: kind of makes me wonder if the hub is the source of the problem11:01
BoostisBetterminute: it does seem odd that I seem to be the only one having this issue. I mean this issue is bad though. It stops me from being able to use the Pocket. 11:02
BoostisBetterminute: physically unplugging the keyboard connection on the board was the only way I was able to get the keybaord back. The hub would not re-enumerate it otherwise. Really strange. System is still running if you would like any logs. 11:05

minuteBoostisBetter: maybe your rp2040 is just a bit faulty or sth13:43
BoostisBetterminute: I would be down for that. I could pay for shipping or something13:43
minuteBoostisBetter: ok cool, please send a quick mail to support@mntre.com and specify white/red switches, and we'll get that done13:44

reform108selling the pocket reform. how do i restart the setup wizard for the new owner?21:57
reform108anyone?21:58
reform108hello?21:59
vagrantcreinstall with a fresh image?21:59
vagrantcalso, be a bit patient with irc ... people are in all different timezones and may not respond immediately21:59
reform108ok thanks21:59
reform108do i need a micro sd card to reinstall the image?22:00
reform108sorry for the questions but im an absolute beginner22:01
hramrachAlso there it the forum (see topic)22:05
reform108i prefer irc chat over the forums22:06
hramrachthe forum has the advantage that you can check an answer later, on irc you must be online to seeit22:07
reform108yeah but for the forums you need to create an account and register and i cant be bothered to do that22:07
reform108this is just easier in my opinion22:08
reform108anyways thanks for your help think i know what to do now22:08
hramrachIf I was doing this I would erase the emmc and be done with it but depending on the specific module there are boot partitions that may or may not be relevant so this is not a trivial question22:09
reform108like i said , im a beginner so  what you just said goes over my head22:09
reform108i dont even know how to erase the emmc22:10
hramrachthat's exactly why a forum discussion that makes it possible to take the time to unpack all the details is likely better22:10
reform108yeah maybe youre right22:11
