amospallaTwodisbetter: glad to see it works for you. Actually I don't use my pocket as much as I would like due to lack of time, but still I find easy to type on it, much more than my previous 7 inch laptop.12:15
amospallafor me the key is using the same keyboard layout everywhere, with every keyboard I use. To remap them I use kanata, and magically all my keyboards behave exactly the same, with layers and such.12:18

amospallaSo, the thing is not that I write fast, but that I write at a good enough speed and specially that I don't need to look at the keyboard to write.12:47

Twodisbetternice. I am finding that I have to look occasionally to make sure my hands are still properly aligned on the Pocket. That is getting better though. I don't type traditional though and I think that contributes to it as well13:42

hramrachI have my own SiN ball for the Pocket now. Its tracking is even worse than the original ball but it's less annoying to use. Overall I think I like it better.16:06
hramrachI wonder if there is somebody who understands what the sensors actually read. Clearly the SiN material is marginal wrt this sensor type, and with ZnO I could only get a reading when putting in or taking out the ball.16:08

Twodisbetterhas anyone made the Pocket Reform their primary computer here?17:09
[tj]grimmware is using it a lot, but has other computers. someone in the forum is too17:23
[tj]it'll be my main "away from desk" computer when it comes17:24

sknebelhramrach: I know some of these sensors have a debug output where you can see their camera image. Not sure if the ones in the reforms can do that though 17:44

grimmwareI’m pretty much using it as my primary machine at the moment. Sometimes use my work MacBook for stuff but only if I’m already at my desk.19:33
hramrachkanata cannot work for me, I want to remap the key in the corner which sends no event :/19:37
hramrachbut putting QMK or something similar on the keyboard should make key mapping much easier19:38
