irimi1hi! so, i wanna migrate my pocket reform to the nvme ssd i mounted, but i’m not sure how to go about it, if not manually. 'reform-help' tells me to use 'reform-setup-encrypted-nvme', but that script doesn't exist in my system (and also the tool repo's main branch).02:00
irimi1what do i do from here? :)02:00
irimi1the online handbook mentions 'reform-migrate' which also doesn't exist02:01

minuteirimi1: ah, both need sudo02:06
minuteirimi1: because they're in /sbin02:06
irimi1aah so they just don’t show up in the shell completion from a regular user’s shell.02:08
irimi1i lied about them not existing then ^^"02:08
joschthis is also what reform-help says02:08
joschboth commands are prefixed with sudo02:09
irimi1hm, i didn’t expect the completion to behave differently when adding sudo. TIL 02:10
irimi1thanks you two :)02:10
joschyes, the destinction becomes less and less useful over time though02:14
irimi1setup and migration went super smoothly <302:24

grimmwareokay so I think the keyboard snafus I've been having are related to system controller timeouts18:43
grimmwareI'm gonna start trying to log the system controller output to see what's going on there because I get a fair few of them and it could be due to my modifications 18:46

Twodisbetteryeah I have found that amospalla's idle script only uses about 100 mah more than real suspend  on th ei.mx8plus SoC so I just have the thing on all the time with that script running when it needs to be suspended.21:28
TwodisbetterI am not sure either, but it feels like a recent wifi qcald package fixed the kind of wifi range issues I was having.21:28
TwodisbetterAnyway hope everyone is doing well up in here!21:29
hramrachI have too many blinkenlights for my own good. I found that when I connect 3 太Ψ 20V devices to my USB PD PSU if fails to configure the power, and keeps the 3rd one on some low voltage for quite a while. Connecting, disconnecting devices triggers some re-negotioation, all charging leds go off and on again. Connecting an USB Ethernet adapter to my hub triggers the on-reset blinkenlights on the21:29
hramrachboards connected to the same hub /o\21:29
Twodisbetterminute: how much pocket usage would you say you are getting out of your pocket?21:29
hramrachwhich qcadld?21:30
hramrachI went for an external Ethernet adapter because none of the onboard ones is usable in the end21:32

svpeyeing the jp layout for the reform v3/v4 keyboard makes me wonder... what key has backslash and pipe? does the reform image have an override for altgr or am i missing something23:08
svpon a related note itd be nice to have the layouts in the pdf manuals because unless im mistaken the v2 layouts are either nowhere obvious or gone23:25
joschsvp: this is all open hardware. In the very worst case, what you are looking for is deleted but still in a git history. In this case, the old layouts are here: https://source.mnt.re/reform/reform/-/tree/master/reform2-keyboard-lettering?ref_type=heads23:29
svpd'oh, completely missed that directory somehow23:35
