minuteLS1028A modules are almost sold out16:46
mhoyeACTION had my batteries disappear from under me. 16:53
mhoyeI let the MNT run to empty, and it's apparently reluctant to come back.16:54
mhoyeThis is unfortunate.16:54
mhoyeAny suggestions for resurrecting LiFePo4 cells that read zero?17:00
minutemhoye: how is that possible? no protected battery boards??17:02
mhoyeI'm using the new boards.17:27
mhoyeI don't know how it's possible.17:27
mhoyeI'm charging the cells separately now, it may be that it was just cell failure but... I don't know.17:28
joschwow, good news that ls1028a actually sold out! I hope they made at least a bit of a profit for all the headaches those caused you. XD17:30
joschmhoye: i hope you get your cells back at least partially!17:31
joschand i was just celebrating that there haven't been any issues reported for a long while :(17:31

jfredhas anyone here tried powering their Reform off a 12V cigarette lighter outlet? I'm kinda curious since some of those big solar power banks have 12V DC outputs, and the handbook does say the Reform can accept 9-32V...22:37
jfredI could plug the power brick into the AC jack of course but would be nice to not go DC->AC->DC22:37
minutejfred: technically it should work, how many amps does the lighter provide?22:39
jfredThe one I'm looking at says it can provide 10 A. (I don't actually have one yet, "can it power my Reform efficiently" is one of the things I'm thinking about when picking one haha)22:40
jfredoh interesting, another (more expensive) one by the same manufacturer says it can provide 24V/10A DC - which is nice since that's the nominal voltage for the Reform haha22:44
joschjfred: i have a cigarette lighter output that is rated 15 A at 12 V and that works22:44
jfred:)22:44
jfredI love that the Reform's that flexible22:44
