nockojosch: thanks for checking. I'll go looking to see what package pulled it in as a dep.00:00
joschnocko: you can look that up in /var/log/apt/history.log00:02
nockoWould the BPI-CM5 (A311D2) be drop-in compatible with the CM4 adapter? I am interested in an upgrade, but would rather retain USB3... and I wouldn't turn down 8GB of RAM (possible with the D2, but not the shipping config of the CM5).00:02
+ bkeys (~Thunderbi@45.134.140.153)00:08
nockoHrm, I cannot find a place to buy one... maybe it doesn't exist yet.00:09
nockoAlso, no wifi...00:11

violetminute: do you have a datasheet for the innolux panel by chance?04:13
violetpanelook wants me to give them the name of the company im a part of which doesnt exist, and my business mailing address which i dont have, and im not totally convinced they'll actually give me a datasheet after that lol04:14
jfredHmm, my Reform has been powering off when the battery percentage is still fairly high. I think one of my cells might be on its way out, the battery status screen reads a lower voltage for the first cell when that happens05:06
jfred(Having hardware status screens on that OLED display is one of my favorite things about the Reform)05:07
joschjfred: same thing happened to me05:07
joschjfred: it would die at 25% or so05:08
joschone of the cells would be down to 2.X volts05:08

joschminute: things i miss about imx: hardware video decoding is a double-edged sword. If it works it's awesome! With a311d i just observed that having some (mostly single-core) job running in the background made it be 25% slower when watching a 1080p@60 h264 video at the same time. This didn't happen on imx8mq. On the other hand, all the troubles with hardware decoding on imx8mq when it did *not* just work 05:22
joschout-of-the-box were also kinda daunting...05:22
joschi'm observing these differences when comparing root chroot with chrootless chroots: https://paste.debian.net/1303324/05:33
joschi'm puzzled because https://salsa.debian.org/helmutg/dpkg-root-demo/-/pipelines works just fine05:34

jfredjosch: Did you replace the cell that was more drained and if so did that fix it? (And was it the first cell?)20:12
joschjfred: i replaced the cell that died first and that helped it to last longer again, yes20:13
joschbut it what really fixed it was the new lpc firmware which now accurately remembers what 0% means20:13
joschas it's a moving target20:13
joschACTION is currently playing stardew valley with partner while in the background the 4 hour test suite of my software is running20:14
