joschminute: i think a switch turning off power completely (as you did for the pocket) would also be a nice addition for the big reform21:15
joscheven if i have to open up the reform for it, i rather flip a switch on the motherboard than fiddle with the battery connectors, i think21:16
hramrachYes, a power switch sounds good. How difficult it is to implement is another story. You need to disconnect lik 4 or 6 wires to get the batteries off on the big Reform21:18
joschyes, i guess that's why nobody hacked it in yet21:19

joscheibachd: i read you got ls1028a to boot from emmc? that's really awesome! congratulations! :D21:57
eibachdjosch: I have the service processor booting. All it does is turn on aLED. That was my first goal on the way. The service processor can now setup everything for the ARM cores, load the Bootcode to SRAM and hopefully then everything is in place.22:01
joschuff, wild! :)22:02
minutereally cool22:10
eibachdI find it cool, to have a special purpose processor, just to setup everything for booting the main processor. I always wanted to play around with it, and this was the perfect opportunity.22:17
hramrachit's serious hardware :)22:57
joschcan't wait to be able to buy a second motherboard so that my ls1028a can stopy laying in the shelf :D23:00
