joschand then on every Debian package build, sbuild will first extract the chroot (several 100 MB) into /tmp (which is not a tmpfs) and then install several 100 MB of build dependencies and then remove the whole thing at the end08:32
joschmost stuff i do is single-core. Together with 16 GB of RAM (which will make tmpfs feasible for me again) that's why I pre-ordered the LS1028A.08:33
pandora[m]Is there already a release date for the LS1028A?08:44

minutepandora[m]: the LS1028A is in another hardware debugging round atm. recently we got 3 units assembled at pcbway, and i sent one of them to rbz, designers of the module, for bringup12:27
minutein my initial test the hw (clock, power etc) looked fine but it wasn't booting yet12:28
minuteinstead of going into a debug grind i wanted to the designer to take a look first12:28

violeti keep wondering what pin the PCIe lane is on on the hdmi port for that thing18:47
- murdock (QUIT: Ping timeout: 255 seconds) (~murdock@dhcp-68-142-57-54.greenmountainaccess.net)18:48
violetcause i have this external PCIe slot thingy thats designed to be used with expresscard/miniPCIE/m.2 from laptops to let you plug a GPU into them and it uses an HDMI connector on the base of it for the PCIe lane so if its the right pin then you could just plug a regular ol HDMI cable into it and the reform18:48
violeti dunno which pin the funny adapter uses tho so even if i knew i guess it doesnt help18:49
