minuteeery[m]: not sure at which layer this happens, could be anything from hdmi driver to dcss driver00:42

chartreuseFinally got some JGNE batteries in again (just picked up two to replace the dead cells of my set). Now to make sure not to ever let them overdischarge again04:32
chartreuseWill pick up the improved battery board later, but figured I needed the batteries now as not being able to use it properly as a laptop had me kinda neglecting it04:32
chartreuseNow just to wait for the cells to properly balance, manually charged up the 6 originals with a bench supply to be close to the new, but still needs to be fully even04:34
klardotshwhat was the voltage when "dead"? usually below... I think it's 2.2 or 2.4V, they're perma-damaged to varying degrees (likewise for over 4.2V)05:31
klardotshhope they're revivable though, that'd be nice to save them from the brink!05:32
klardotshlifepo4 charge curves are scary stuff. my boat has a 16s (48v) bank of them using mostly passive/hardware failsafes, but I had the pack improperly balanced. had one cell spike all of a sudden from 3.65 (full) to 3.9 and that's about the closest I've ever come to a heart attack05:33
chartreuseI think only 2 of them went completely to 0 with the rest somewhere over 2v still, but I can't remember right now. They all did come back charging on a bench supply except those two that no matter how long trickle charging at very low current would revive, as they likely have an internal short06:57
klardotshah cool yeah, over 2V is likely "lightly degraded capacity but should still kick for a good while", that's good to hear07:00
chartreuseWhen I can afford it again I'll likely pick up replacements for the rest "just in case" but they seem to be holding up just fine. Seem to be discharging evenly after bringing it up to a full charge and leaving it for a while to balance07:09

user4My reform shows on the oled screen a failed attempt to load the lpc when I try to boot it without lpc firmware, but doesn't show any attempt to start the lpc when there is lpc firmware present. Before I broke it it did show such attempts.18:11
