bnysjosch what's up with reform-migrate? i just redid my system and it seems like it's not working/not found. the nvme section of the handbook now says to manually copy to the nvme, but the encrypted nvme section says to use reform-migrate02:13
bnysmaybe I missed something I'm going to try again here after I run updates02:16

joschrafostar[m]: clapper 0.5.2 works just as well for me -- thank you for all your help! I now have it running without flatpak :)08:09
joschminute: the problem is now gstreamer 1.22 -- according to https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/gstreamer/gstreamer/-/issues/974 they want to release "End December 2022 / early January 2023" but the Debian "Transition and Toolchain Freeze" for the next stable release is scheduled to be 2023-01-1208:13
joschI'd also like to help bnys but it was 2 AM in the morning in my timezone when they wrote here XD08:18

joschrafostar[m]: there is one issue i still have with 0.5.2 that does not appear with the flatpak nightly: seeking in a h265 video using the progress slider locks up my screen (no mouse movement, no clock changes) and i have to hard-reset. Does that sound like a plausible thing that is fixed with clapper from git?13:09
rafostar[m]<josch> "rafostar: there is one issue i..." <- Nope. These kinds of issues that appear with only some decoders are usually gstreamer issues. Make sure you are running the same day snapshot as when nightly was built or simply wait for 1.22. The only thing that I can reproduce (with Intel Atom CPU, since I unfortunately do not own a Reform 😞) is green screen with 10bit videos, due to unsupported by GLES version format picked at14:23
rafostar[m]colorspace conversion. This I fixed at Clapper git some time ago.14:23

bkeysminute: What is the estimated battery life of the pocket reform?18:08
joschminute: nice ghost in the shell clip :) i take it that's also h265 decoding in hardware? do i read your posts correctly that wifi finally is working on the imx8mp?19:52

vagrantcmnt refrom wasn't booting, then i realized the SD card was ejected. whew.22:42
bkeysMan I am waiting for the day it's all on eMMC and nvme and the SD card slot will be freed22:46
bkeyson KDE the battery status of the Reform is not properly reported, is this a known issue?\22:50
minutejosch: no, that one was h264 still, and yes, wifi works...... with an out of tree driver22:51
Boostisbetterbkeys, Using the eMMC and NVME only is already possible. I believe the documentation details the process to do that. 22:52
bkeysIt does but I am just waiting to see if I can get Fedora booting on here then I will dedicate the time to doing it22:53
