BoostisbetterI'm hoping it is an aluminum case like the Reform. More robust and able to more reliably used on the go as intended by the form factor. 08:50

dustfingerminute: On the fifth you mentioned that mnt-reform sent crowd supply a lot of those wifi cards and that you have a supply issues. You also mentioned that you will be sending them a lot of trackballs the following week or so. I submitted an order for wifi card and trackball, but the expected shpping date is July. I asked if I could have the order expedited, but they said that they won't have any wifi cards or trackballs in stock until14:04
dustfingerJuly. Does that sound right to you?14:04

minutejosch: btw, the ci failed again because of blender > Version '2.79.b+dfsg0-7+reform1' for 'blender-data' was not found21:55
minute(and blender)21:55
minutejosch: as far as i can see blender is not in the log of reform-debian-packages?21:58
+ littlebobeep (~alMalsamo@gateway/tor-sasl/almalsamo)22:20
joschminute: i think blender is in the log:22:32
joschcurl --silent --location https://source.mnt.re/reform/reform-debian-packages/-/jobs/782/artifacts/file/output.log | grep blender | wc -l22:32
josch7576722:33
joschand it's also in the repo: https://mntre.com/reform-debian-repo/pool/main/b/blender/22:33
joschminute: where do you see it failing again? i only see a failure from one week ago here: https://source.mnt.re/reform/reform-system-image/-/pipelines22:33
minutehmm, perhaps i did not rerun it!22:34
minuteand firefox on my phone did not find "blender" in the log, weird22:35
minuteperhaps it does not really render and search 180 MB of text22:35
joschminute: yes, gitlab only shows 4 MB of the log22:35
- littlebobeep (QUIT: Ping timeout: 240 seconds) (~alMalsamo@gateway/tor-sasl/almalsamo)22:36
minuteyeah i clicked on the raw log, but that must have been clipped too22:37
joschyes, it is22:37
minuteok, i will rerun the pipeline!22:38
minute:D22:38
joschthe log is sent through a perl script called filter-output which makes sure to display not more than 4 MiB or otherwise gitlab will error out22:38
joschthe full log is sent to a file and has to be downloaded as an artifact because of its size22:38
+ littlebobeep (~alMalsamo@gateway/tor-sasl/almalsamo)22:40
mtmminute: since you are in the process of moving input devices to rp2040 designs it would be awesome if the Reform keyboard were split into a small CPU/USB board and a dumb matrix scanned keyboard bit: would make it much easier to try out alternate keyboard designs (ortholinear, split, etc).  Hackers would only have build the keyboard part and change up the scan codes22:41
minutemtm: the rp2040 is only $122:42

mtmguess I was mostly thinking about the extra complexity of getting the sysctl part right when hacking on my design (it's a bit orthoganal to my goals, but, to be fair, I haven't delved to deep into it yet)22:53
