eerycurious - I've noticed I get (marginally?) better performance in some applications running in a full root Xwayland window versus a rootless Xwayland session managed by a wlroots compositor15:25

eery interesting, I thought they'd use roughly identical codepaths for rendering, just different geometry/window managers16:58

aphisticquestion for those of you with a reform diy: where did you end up putting your  "MNT REFORM DIY #1234" sticker? i was thinking of putting it inside the chassis instead of on the acrylic because that's less likely to be replaced, but then it's a black sticker on a black background. it also gets into a "ship of theseus" idea of where to place the sticker :D19:19
aphisticminute: btw i LOVE the machine! i had a few gripes about it that you might have read but they're all very minimal. overall i'm very impressed with it and it's well worth the cost of admission19:21
kfxI never applied mine.  if I were to do it over I'd put it on the inside of the lid, behind the screen19:23
aphisticah, i hadn't considered that19:23
verxaphistic: I put the sticker on the inside of my LCD bezel and it suffers the same black background issue. I've thought about printing an illegitimate replacement19:24

aphistici've been debating cutting a blank white label to the same size and just mounting it on there and then putting it on the surface just inside the front of the chassis where the touchpad/ball are so you can still see it through the acrylic19:25
verxthat would be slick19:27
