Jookiamntmn: what did you add? :D01:28
mntmnJookia: PCIe clock generator, level shifter for SD card... and changed USB3 hub to another package01:36
mntmnalso unified 2 battery connectors into 101:37
Jookiaooh, how did you do that01:37
mntmnonly afterwards noticed that the crimping tool for molex nanofit costs $400+ ://01:37
mntmnJookia: which one you mean?01:38
Jookiathe battery connector unification01:38
mntmnah, i changed to a 10 pin molex nanofit01:41
mntmnbefore it was 2x 5 pin molex microfit01:41
swivelyou getting the crimping tool or switching to something else?01:43

mntmnswivel: very unsure atm.01:46
mntmni mean it’s normally possible to buy leads precrimped01:47
+ erlehmann (~erlehmann@46.114.39.33)01:47
mntmnjust for this one they’re out of stock atm01:47
swivelunless I had a big pile of boards with that connector $400 is enough to make me seriously consider another revision w/cheaper connector01:48

mntmnswivel: might have a big pile soon ;)01:56
mntmnanother rev would be def. a lot more expensive than $400 though01:56
mntmnboth in services/materials and our own labor cost01:57
swivelah, well if it's the only driver for another rev then it's a no brainer I guess01:57
swivelmaybe you can find a source for a loaner crimping tool ;)01:57
mntmnyeah i mean for some experiments i will probably just do some ghetto crimping or solder to the crimp pins :D02:03

mickenmntmn: just talked with _Bnu about getting riscos to i.MX819:28
mickenmntmn: aarch64 is impossible. For current rockchip and a64 targets I simply switch to aarch32 in uboot. I will try to get my hands on a i.MX8(Q) kit19:34
mickenmntmn: since right now I am more interested in doing non mobile thing, the pinebook with riscos ARMbook was just released19:35

mntmnmicken: aarch32 is fine, having risc os open on reform would be really nice19:47
mntmnmicken: i do use MIPI DSI for the internal screen though, that could be a challenge19:47
mntmnmicken: the drivers look quite simple though19:47

mickenmntmn: but mipi dsi shouldnt be rocketsience if they are documented in the rm20:32
