AiOhm. just put together my AA3000+, TF4060, ZZ9000+AX again. this thing I experience with broken network after Ctrl+A+A or C:Reboot have anyone else seen it? the quickest way i've found to see it in action is to boot-up the machine, and then reset it and ping something on the network where i get DUP! on my pings.20:22
AiOi need to power-off the machine to get the nic to fire up normally again. not a big thing... but if there is some known work-around i'd be happy to learn20:25
AiO(i am running 1.13 BOOT.bin (no Zorro RAM) and ZZ9000 Amiga Driver Installer Package 1.1320:53
minuteAiO: i remember you reported this a while ago, but unfortunately didn't have time to look deeply into it yet. i suspect it's a bug in the firmware21:23

AiOminute: ok. there's no rush. i can live with this. b.t.w. i think figured out why the AX borks out on AA3000+... the AA3000+ is *remarkably* noisy on native screen modes (probably to due to the crappy flickerfixer/scandoubler on-board), which is "usable" on motherboard RCA-outs, but it seems the DSP *really* dislike the noise ratio, hence i get the problems i get. for example when the pattern22:14
AiOgraphics of ProTracker scrolls down a bit into the pattern the problems show.22:14
AiOminute: using Music Line on a ZZ9000 RTG-screen works fine22:15
AiO(but not on a native screen mode)22:15
AiOso there's that22:15
AiO... it depends a bit on the sounds being used.22:16
AiOsame goes for DigiBoosterPro on RTG v.s. native screen mode22:16
AiO(with Paula AHI)22:17
minuteohhh22:17
minutequite interesting22:17
AiOyeah. the AX forwards the audio fine until too much is happening on screen, then it seem to self-amplify and distort somehow. no idea why or how or if that's something it can do :) but that's what happens for me :)22:25
AiOmaybe i should have gone for a ReAmiga3000 instead of the AA :)22:29
