shansheoh stepan, you're right... it is only for gal... so bad news...10:52
emiespo[m]I should seek a cpu module, ensure it still works, box it, then wait patiently for the PiStorm32.11:46
shanshemaybe Z3660 (or ZZ3660?) could be for you, but also you have to wait a while for it, hehehe 12:54
emiespo[m]I had a CS-MKI that also died after a recap of the main board. Then a friend of mine lent me the one I have now (in 2019, right before the pandemic...), and it sorta worked up to now. I had some issues (it would not start from time to time) but nothing too bad. Until I smelt burning (and of course the machine froze and didn't reboot).14:38
emiespo[m]I'd like to put it back in working order and then return it. These are old boards anyway.14:40
Jopeyeh14:45
Jopeoh well14:45
Jopesooner or later there will be a tf406014:45
Jopematze has been working on his big box tk14:46
Jopew4060 will happen one fine day .. 14:46
Jopethere is an sdram board coming for the a3640/3660 (exciting)14:46
emiespo[m]oh, board? it means there will be a new revision of the 3660, or it's something that sits in between the CPU and the card?14:47
Jopein between14:47
emiespo[m]makes sense :) 14:47

my_pc_is_amigaHi -- wanted to check if the switching issue got resolved  -- 'gregdonner.org' --> "Split screen on fickerfixer, when switching between RTG and flickerfixer"16:53
my_pc_is_amigaI've tried like "EdPlayer" that opens a native screen and my Workbench screen is ZZ9000 RTG but the native screen gets messed up16:54
mntmnmy_pc_is_amiga: there's a beta which fixes this17:03

gdonnerJope: that SDRAM board for the A3640/3660 looks good!18:54
gdonnerGreat to see a lot of new hardware in process18:55
my_pc_is_amiga@gdonner -- do you have a pic or more info on the SDRAM .. I'm curious as how  this would work.  This is FAST RAM?19:02

gdonnermy_pc_is_amiga: Just a video is all I know so far: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iAyvve_3di419:42
gdonnerbut it sure looks good for being a (theoretically) simple solution19:42
gdonnersort of what shanshe has already implemented with his Z366019:43
gdonner(I believe--someone correct me if I'm wrong!)19:43
gdonnerBTW, for anyone wondering, 3.2.1 appears to be very solid--it fixed a bunch of crashes and weird graphical issues I had, especially when using DOpus 4.1719:47
gdonnerthat's P96 3.2.1 :) But AmigaOS 3.2.1 also works nicely :)19:48
- xet7 (QUIT: Ping timeout: 240 seconds) (~xet7@user/xet7)19:52
shansheyeah Z3660 doesn't have RAM, but uses RAM from Z-turn FPGA board, so also we could add RTG AHI USB SD-SCSI... Bnu has already one Z3660 board to test...19:52
shanshealso 060 up to 100Mhz...19:52
shanshewhat I like from that RAM is that is added on 060 socket, so you can upgrade your current A3660 with SDRAM...19:53
shanshewe have now a lot of possibilities... but none of them are finished!!!19:54
gdonnerRome wasn't built in a day :)19:55
shanshehehehe, that is the main reason I built my Z366019:55
gdonnerAnd a nice job done so far!19:55
gdonnercool stuff :)19:55
gdonnerI'm actually quite impressed with my Amiga's performance compared to my PC (in some aspects)19:56
gdonnerpretty darn impressive19:56
gdonnereven with my gimped A366019:56
