my_pc_is_amiga@_Bnu and @tryphoncosinus -- the switching I see is with a A4000T.   @tryphoncosinus  -- would it make sense to try 1.8 FW and check UART to see if switch was happening.  I don't remember seeing this on 1.8 but I could be wrong there...05:11

_Bnumy_pc_is_amiga: I've never seen it happen on an A4000, but if your refresh rate is very unstable on boot (just fluctuating, not switching between 50/60), it might be bad caps.05:50

mntmncould still also be a firmware bug if it didn't happen with 1.810:54
tryphoncosinusHello. mntmn already  asked me to try 1.8 : "Done with 1.8. boot.bin seems to boot then AmigaOS loads normally but screen is black and the monitor does not return any error. Image is also black for Early startup menu." I may try again recording the log with USB UART I did not have at that time.14:21
tryphoncosinusmntmn: Is it possible to send a command to ZZ9000 via USB-UART to keep manually NTSC mode? Just to try ...14:57
mntmntryphoncosinus: nope, we would need to give you a modified firmware that never switches to pal14:58
tryphoncosinusI will be happy to test a NTSC version.15:38
