KKmntmn: when one sets the VCAP-800x600 or whatever env variable, the output will be 800x600@60Hz instead of 720x576@50Hz i guess. What I'm asking is is there a way to make the output at 800x600@50Hz instead of just 60Hz? Or maybe I got something wrong?00:04
KKreason is i run on 1600x1200 lcd which works fine on 50Hz but 800x600 would maybe make it's scaler less stupid00:05

mntmnKK: ahh, gotcha. you want 800x600 instead of 720x576 for 50hz00:31
KKyea, wondering if lcd would scale a bit better since it's native resolution is int divisible by 800x60000:34

KKi'm assuming you just add some borders in 800x600? didn't really check00:35
KKor rather just center it or whatever00:36

tryphoncosinusThe A2320 image result suggests that the Amiga hardware behaves as it should with native resolutions listed in ScreenMode Prefs. Switching to ZZ9000 shows abnormal behavior with native resolutions as well as exotic ones I can create (PAL 60Hz). As I am unable to explain this difference, I have no more idea to make ZZ9000 stable with native resolutions. Your suggestions are welcome. Thank you.15:10
mntmntryphoncosinus: i can try to add some debugging capabilities for the native sync, but i don't know when i can allocate the time for that, hopefully soon because there is at least one other person with problems like this (but using denise adapter/CSYNC)15:20
mntmntryphoncosinus: does the RTG part work now?15:20
tryphoncosinusIf you successfully tried NTSC configuration with ZZ9000 (NTSC motherboard) or know someone who had success with the same motherboard, you have part of the answer, maybe. Otherwise, it may be a new bug? RTG part works really better but ... I noticed rare black screens during short time.15:58
mntmni use a NTSC A3000 for all development15:59
mntmnfrom the US15:59
tryphoncosinusOK.  Waiting you are available later is never mind for me as long as the time delay is reasonable. The main reason is not I need my Amiga :-[, but the ZZ9000 warranty period is limited and I need this period to test more advanced provided and listed tools before it ends. Of course, I fully understand, if you need a lot of time for any reason, I will be open to any agreement for warranty extension time. I know you have ple16:09
tryphoncosinusnt projects for all of us I hope you will deliver ASAP :-D.16:09
mntmntryphoncosinus: when did you get your zz?16:10
tryphoncosinusBeginning of July 2021 (batch 6).16:12
mntmntryphoncosinus: so you have warranty until at least july 202216:23
tryphoncosinusYes. Yet enough time to use the card when I have hobby time  and check if all parts are in order before warranty ends. Thanks.16:31
